NEW!!! SKIPPY & DAVE'S ANTI-BULLY SHOW NEW!!!

This character-building program finds Skippy and Dave illustrating successful ways to understand each other's feelings and relate to one another. Anti-bullying behavior and solutions are explored as Skippy and Dave dialog and sing songs of positive reinforcement to familiar tunes. Tolerance, appropriate behavior and healthy self esteem are taught as positivity is stressed in this timely, must-do assembly.

NEW!!! DRAGONS, DREAMS AND DARING DEEDS NEW!!!

Set in Medieval times with Skippy and Dave appearing as the Serf and his King. It recounts a journey made in a kingdom whose economy depends on ice cream, through a tragic time when a dragon is melting the kingdom's supply of it! 'Tis a captivating tale that includes songs, dialog and has a wonderful, upbeat finale as well as a moral to the story: all about friends along the way. Encourages reading! Will enthrall any audience!

READING IS FUN WITH SKIPPY AND DAVE: A musical, interactive program emphasizing the importance of reading and reinforcing language arts skills in such a way that your students will think that this is pure entertainment!. Highlights of this high-energy program include songs written and performed by our talented presenter as well as piggy-back songs: 'Reading USA' (to the tune of 'Surfin' USA").

OLD TIME ROCK AND ROLL WITH SKIPPY AND DAVE: Also interactive, this is a fun-filled journey back to the roots of rock music. The audience travels briskly through the realms of blues, gospel, country and jazz styles that led to the earliest form of rock and roll. Dave performs clips from famous songs as Skippy makes no secret of his musical preferences as he engages Dave in humorous banter. Although these programs feature Dave Parker, an accomplished ventriloquist, he is always accompanied by a colorful cast of characters as well.

Available to Libraries for summer 2010 as 'SPLASH & SPRAY with SKIPPY & DAVE'; this program will include beach, water and surf songs.

Our presenter, Dave Parker, is a professional ventriloquist/vocalist/guitarist who has authored many story songs, some of which you will hear in these programs. He has over 1000 shows to his credit and has thrilled audiences all over the United States. Very suitable for PK-8th. Book early due to high demand!
