EBAY ENRICHMENT CLASSES
AVAILABLE IN CLASS, LECTURE OR TUTORING FORMAT.
Class Format: Typically held in a computer lab with 10-15 computer stations. Computer with overhead projection is required, as well as high-speed internet access at individual computer stations. Patrons may bring in their own laptop, if location has Wi-Fi. Lots of Ebay info and hands-on assistance with sign-up and site navigation. Each session runs approximately 1 1/2 hours. Class will be limited to 15 students, and pre-registration is strongly recommended.
Lecture Format: Typically held in a meeting room with seating for up to 150. Computer with overhead projection and high-speed internet access is required. Sound system is required for larger meeting rooms. Each session runs 1 1/2 hours. No hands-on. Lecture is a combination of informative talk with demonstration, and includes plenty of time for questions and answers.
Tutor Format: Four to eight 25-minute one-on-one sessions, pre-scheduled. One computer with high-speed internet access for instructor, and for student (student may bring their own laptop if location has Wi-Fi). Specific topics and issues will be addressed, as requested by the student.
